Recently there was a problem with the septic field drainage at my home. I knew nothing about septic systems and had no idea where to turn. But winter was coming soon and my problem would be buried under five feet of snow. Not good. The owner, civil engineer Mikie Valencia, listened to my awkward description of the problem, advised me what she thought the issues might be and recommended a local company that could help. What I thought to be a single problem turned out to be several and over the next month a series of phone calls and emails followed. Throughout, Mikie promptly returned my calls and answered my emails, patiently explaining what seemed to be the best course of action. Mikey was spectacular to work with on planning, designing, implementing our complex septic system. We had thick layers shale on property which requires special design and accommodations and Mikey designed system that works beautifully. Anytime we worked with county resources, excavators, other engineers they all said Mikey was extremely skilled in her septic design process and they had same experience on how she was wonderful to work with.
